EVA-01 初号機 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Spent a while on studying the design of this unique and intricate character. Can’t say I get them all right. Scrutiny from fellow fans is anticipated and welcome.
Creative freedom in interpreting EVA is rather limited, like all iconic designs. Had fun appreciating the timeless design, nonetheless.

Merida (Brave) and Merida (bike)
I was amused the name is shared by the Scotland clan and German engineering, and I like them both. Brave is one of the films I rewatch time to time; Ridden the Reacto 4000 2015, the 2020 disc is one of my dream bikes, both aesthetics and technical setup.
Had fun marrying the lady, the cubs and the bike with sci-fi mod.
I might have, arguably, injected too much personal interpretation but, what is too much?

Revan (Star Wars)
Thanks for recommending Revan. I like the silhouette.
However, it was a slight bumpy stretch creating this one - mere iterate just wasn’t motivating. A brief origin story for this Revan was drafted. It helped to make sense of the design decisions, eg. katana saber (Not sure how it’s gonna work without bending the light but, that’s another chapter).

Link (The Legend of Zelda)
Elf-like character with a long history of development… almost my age. Richness in fantasy tribal visual nuances across the costume and weapons were fun to work. My choice of reference point is “Breath of the Wild”.
This was framed as the result of a dedicated photo-shoot appointment with Link. Didn’t have to worry about the adventure missions, he was at ease when posing for the camera.

Jace Beleren (Magic: The Gathering)
Not a Magic player, I can only appreciate the visual elements of this cool looking planeswalker. The nature of it (card game) made its reference is not as digitally available as mediums like video games, animation and movies. Nonetheless, there are some really inspiring art of him.
The appearance of Jace is rather...loud, if I dare, made crafting him fairly manageable. That said, there were challenging creative decision making occasions, which made it enjoyable.

Predator
Iconic and interesting design. I see “gritty” sci-fi, fantasy, tribal influence in studying the design. Multiple interpretation of the IP gave opportunity to the diversity and evolution in the design. Inspiring and (indirectly) encouraged creative freedom, which I appreciate and enjoyed.
Mainly drew reference from AVP (2004) and Predators (2010) Spiced the piece with external element⚔️, minimal tweaks on look and proportion.
